Do You Have What It Takes For National Geographic?

The nomination process has started and thirty-eight attractions, natural areas, festival and other points of interest in Alabama have already submitted their nominations for a four-state US Gulf Coast Geotourism MapGuide. Not all those who submit will make the final cut, but you have to submit to be considered by National Geographic for this project. Plans call for some 100 Alabama points of interst, so there is time and room for your nomination. There is no cost to be involved.
